I'm building rotor blades for my project and I would like to substitute carbon fiber for the fiber glass skin. This lamination would be over a wooden matrix shaped 8H12 airfoil. I would like to increase the strength to reduce the aeroelasticty in this long blade by using carbon fiber.
Does anyone here on the forum have any experience in this type of lay-up? Any thoughts, advice or comments would greatly appreciated.
