In attempting to convert an Aircraft Spruce 2" diameter "Y" tube into a carb air box, the oval flapper was made but I'm drawing a mental blank on how to attach a bronze oil-impregnated bearing or any bearing to the thin wall tube for the operating shaft: the round exterior of the tube and attachment interference with the internal flapper...
Having received no reply to my querry to A.S.S. regarding (p/n 08-00053) their 90* in-line heater valve with what appears to be a bearing on the operating shaft, any suggestions would be appreciated..
thanks, Dick
