Most of me is in IL but my hearts in Alaska
I’ve spent a lot of time just lately exploring Dean Wilson’s ellipse.
The basics are 1100 pounds empty weight 2200 pounds gross weight 50 mile an hour clean stall a 150 mile an hour cruise all on 150 hp .

I suppose the first thing to ask is 150 mile an hour fast enough to be considered a fast plane?
Does the 1100 foot ground roll eliminate it from the expectations of those buying tail wheel aircraft?
Does anyone have any idea why this plane didn’t sell more than four units?
