Hi,

Listing this for a friend. Located in Fresno. Builder did a very nice job on this, but lost control during first takeoff (he acknowledged that it was more plane than he was capable of handling at the time). Some damage was done at the time but has since been repaired (still needs final paint on the patches). There was a soft prop strike at the time, but the dial checks OK; it may be fine, but it's safer to consider the engine as an unknown quantity at this time. The owner has since passed due to illness, so the wife and son are selling it. That's about all I know, but they'll be happy to answer any questions you might have.

The price is right, even if you just wanted the engine, but the plane is very very close to flyable and it would be a shame to break up the project just for the engine. For those unfamiliar with the Barracuda, it is a fast, solid plane, but it has a high wing loading so you need to polish up your skills before you fly it.
