Any recent SportAir Workshop "grads" around?

I see that the EAA SportAir workshops are going to be held within a few hours of me down near Virginia Beach at the end of the month. Specifically, the composite, sheet metal, fabric, electrical/avionics, and gas welding two-day courses will be offered. Anyone have any recent experience with any of these?
