I recently loaded the pro version of PlaneFinder to my phone. One of the features it has is the option to alert me whenever someone squawks an emergency code. As an example, I was just notified that Israeli Air flight LY383 from Tel Aviv to Rome is now squawking 7700. The map track shows it slowing and descending as it diverts toward Cypress.
