Hi all! I have a Loehle P-40 built to the stage I need to decide on a power plant and corresponding firewall, etc. The plans call for an 65 horse Rotax 582. In reading about this engine, it seems people either love or hate them. I have a Geo metro 4 cylinder I was going to get a raven restive system for, but them don't make them any longer, per emails from them. Are there any similar cost 4-cycle alternatives out there? I'd really like this with a 4-Stroke, if possible. Has to be narrow to fit on the cowl, otherwise I'd go with a VW like on my Sonerai.
