The "Micromaster" and other threads have me thinking about industrial V-twin engines for aircraft use. Does anyone have any firsthand experience or concrete data to offer or sources of either to suggest? I don't mean links to companies selling aircraft or engines or components, I mean first-hand experience installing and flying behind relatively stock industrial V-twins of any make and model, direct drive or reduction drive, on any sort of aircraft. I would be very interested in learning from past practice before heading down this road myself.
