So, one of our members (Ahem) decided to post some information about Malish Ducted fan on a major website early yesterday in order to gauge the general public acceptance for something like this.

As Ive been saying for a long time, people are not opposed to GA for any particular reason besides the aircraft often looking horrendous. If full size aircraft are motocycles, many light aircraft arent even scooters. They would be equivalent those bad bicycle conversions that nobody wants to be seen dead on. But people WANT aircraft like this. The reception for Malish aircraft was overwhelmingly positive, with 91 percent approval.

Within 24 hours, the aircraft has gotten 500,000 hits, and over 3600 likes. Its been shared on several other sites, and has had over 10,000 combined views of his uncut videos (Which is extremely uncommon for that many people to watch 20 something minute uncut flight videos)

One of the older members of the site responded as such:

I've seen some crazy things, some amazing things and some inspiring things. This is the first to turn the dial up to 11 on all three. Very very well done to your friends

Many people will say "Well, its less efficient!" Perhaps, but that never stopped people from buying trucks or SUVs. And its not even remotely as inefficient as a truck or SUV is compared to a car. Its basically closer in efficiency to other GA aircraft than most cars are to each other. So the efficiency argument is simply unwarranted.

It appears that people have overwhelmingly embraced the aircraft. Not just that, but Malish now has an outstanding invitation to be interviewed by a major Automotive magazine.

Congratulations Malish!
