I am building a clip wing type cub experimental..since the wing clip, the angle of the strut attach strap point has changed and I am designing a new attach strap with the new strut angle...I need to fill the old holes in the wood spars left by the old strap bolts...the method of choice was a glued wood dowel to fill the old bolt holes, however a carpenter friend says the newer wood epoxy filler products would be much stronger..any thoughts please... thanks
