Hello, I'm new to this forum and after 15 years I'm coming back to same design plane investigation.
I refreshed all the knowledge from university and from old books but I have still some luck of information about how to dimension the skin of ALU wing especially according to aileron effect or torque coming from these forces.

Can some one advice me how to control the thickness and set dimension/offset of ribs/longerons to be affective?

And also how to distribute shear load from torque on the panel?

I know best us used some FEM software but recently I do not have access to anyone :-(

Thank you in advance for any advice.
Petr
