OK I better ask some of you experts before I regret it! The plans say all joints are brazed but welding would be ok? Its an ultralite biplane but here's the question, I do A/C and refrigeration and braze copper to copper all the time using 15% silver solder. Using oxy acetylene I can't weld to save my life but the brazing is a piece of cake. Now are aircraft brazing rods more like 1/16 welding rods or is there basically no reason I can't use the a/c brazing rods? Basicaly most of what gets brazed is 4130 n .
