who here presses parts? i am looking for a bit of advice... i have watched this video on eaa EAA Video Player - Your Source for Aviation Videos and im going to try the same thing, im looking at buying the same type of press though electric/hydraulic and 75T instead of 20T, im going to make the same type of steel box etc but im having trouble with the rubber matting.

some say use medium density rubber matting some say use polyurethane / silicon type rubber, what is best? i cant find many places selling any thick rubber at all, most of it is mm's thick not inches, and the strengths are rated at around 300psi, so im guessing that would break, but i wouldnt want it to be too hard either.

does anybody here with experience have any advice on the rubber type i should be using, and if so a good place to get it?

thanks
