I am working from a cessne 206 on floats i'm told the plane loaded is 3600 lbs and each float gives the same in floatation. I'm working in a large river whose bottom is silty and muddy. I have a bouy on 40m 3/8 cable with a claw anchor and 6ft of 1 inch chain. I can use this as a second anchoring system.I'm looking to set up a primary anchoring system so i dont pull my bouy out or drift as i work.I've seen 1:3 and 1:7 scope for vessels but since i'm at 18m (60ft) this means i'd need a min of 60m up to 140 m of rope.Any suggestions on size of danforth (easiest to get in this lil town) chain size/length, rope scope/length and thickness that would help me accomplish this task would be greatly appreciated!Cheers,Mike
