If you scroll down you will see pictures of the wings being tested to 9Gs and -4 Gs.

How does this testing relate to stress? Just because the structure will withstand the weight on the test stand does not mean the wing will hold up to 9 g s in flight. This doesn’t indicate of the wing has areas of localized stress that may over time lead to cracks or failure either.
Am I right or wrong?

Is this a proven/ good way to test aircraft structures?

I guess the question I am trying to ask is Is this a good way to measure the structural integrity of the airplane in the long run say over 6000 hours of flight time on the airframe?
