The exhaust stacks on my A-65 are fairly old, and right now are probably 20% covered with rust. I'm not even sure how much sandblasting they could take, as the wall thickness isn't that great.

What could I use to paint the pipes to help them last a few more years? They aren't horrible, as in they aren't falling apart, but they do have pitting & flaking due to rust. How should I prep them? Are there any high-temp paints (like POR) that are intended to coat a less than perfect surface like this?
