Most of me is in IL but my hearts in Alaska
I am fascinated with the gains shown in the Custer wing.
I think most of that comes from the increased airflow over the middle, 90° of the arc increasing lift
So I’ve been looking at ways to spread out that flow. It seems like a few aircraft have done that with an increase in numbers of smaller propellers spread along the wing.
The other day at Home Depot, I noticed a floor dryer and how it keeps the flow parallel to the floor
That made me think about a paddle wheel style propulsion buried in the wing
Now seldom do I have a brand spanking new idea that no one in the history of the world is ever thought of, so does anybody here know of a similar propeller being applied to aircraft?
