Will be going to New Zealand with my wife and another couple (he and I are both private pilots and have built & flown Zenith’s - he in Australia and myself in the US).

While the wives have been doing the trip planning thus far, I’d really like to see some aviation related things while we’re there. I enjoy homebuilt aircraft and WW1 aviation, and meeting like minded people.

We’ll be visiting both the north and the south island, and will have a car.

Suggestions on any “must not miss” places for what is likely to be the only time we will ever be able to visit New Zealand…? Timeframe is late March through mid April.

Thanks!

- Pat
