Hi All,

Here is a drawing I made of a glider that I'm in the planning stages to start building. It's based on the Bowlus BS100 Super Albatross ( http://www.sailplanedirectory.com/PlaneDetails.cfm?planeID=341 ), and the Huetter 17 ( http://vintagesailplanes.de/Huetter17.htm ). I'd like to build it from aircraft plywood and Dacron. The long tail boom is a 4" aluminum tube. I plan on documenting the construction so that it can be registered as an Experimental glider and get it's own N number.

The airfoil I've planned on using is the NACA 43012. It's the profile I've been flying under. Both the BS100 and the Huetter use various versions of Gottingen airfoils and I know little about them.

This is just the first pass, I'd appreciate any comments/questions.

Some of the numbers are unclear. The pod height is 2.5 feet, my head sticks out 1 foot. The total wingspan is 36 feet of square non-tapered plank, 40 feet with wing tips.
