Hi guys,
I've been lurking hear and reading posts for about 6 months. I'm finally getting around to fulfilling a life long dream, that is, to fly. My father was a pilot, commercial multi engine instructor when I was born back in the dark ages and he planted the seed of love for flying at an early age, it has just taken me a while to get this far. I will take (am scheduled to take) my check ride on Dec. 6, next week.
I've bought a KR-2 that has been through several hands but never fully prepared for flight and has never had an airworthiness cert applied for. After getting my PPL that will be my next project.
