I'm still in the shopping around phase for a project. The latest that caught my eye is the Bearhawk Patrol. From what I've read so far, it has plenty of usable load, great range, and good handling.
The thing that is intimidating is that the structure is metal and it is strictly plans built. I have a mechanical background, but when it comes to sheet metal fabrication (forming ribs, flanging lightening holes, etc.) I have no experience.
Any thoughts for the novice metal worker?
