Dear all

My plan is to build an experimental plane very similar to extra300l, two seater.

My original plan is to build full metal frame, with aluminium or carbon fibre cover.

Wing airfoil is RITZ 1-30-20 ( 20% camber on 30% chord) almost simetrical with 1% wing incliment.

I did some rough sketches of frame and wings.

Engine planned 200-300 hp

I am experienced welder, so welding is not a problem.

Question is should i use aluminum tubing for frame or steel Chrome-molidben, withch one is better? ( extra in original is steel )?

Which dimensions would you reccomend for both materials?

And if maybe somebody knows original dimensions from extra, dia-wall thickness

Thanks
