I've been trying to draw the TK 7315 from ordinates. Normally this would be a pretty straight forward process but the set of coordinates that were provided are a bit eccentric. David Lednicer's Incomplete Guide to Airfoil Usage lists the Icarus V as having a "MacCready TK 7315 mod" (I assume the "TK" is Taras Kiceniuk). The guy for whom I'm plotting this has plans for an Icarus V, including these coords and leading edge radius, but not the drawing of the airfoil and when he tried to plot them by hand it didn't look right to him so he asked for help. I think I've got it figured out but I'd like verification. The coords he sent me matched a computer generated NACA 7315 but were a bit rough. The mean line that was included with the airfoil turned out to be a mean line for a droop nose version though so I drew in an alternate nose that you can see in the attached drawing. The LE radius didn't include the coordinate of the center point so I guessed at
that. I'm sending this to everybody I know who might understand the question. If you would like to look at the airfoil I'll send it in .DAT or .DXF format. If you know where I might get the original coordinates in a conventional format that would be great. I don't have a lot of confidence I my ability to work around the ambiguity of the leading edge.
