Hello,
I just wondering, is there a general way to calculate the HP a specific engine will produce as altitude increases altitude? The reason I ask is, I live a 4500 ft and I'm starting to look at what possible engines would supply enough power without buying an engine that is too big. I realize that the analysis could get very involved, I'm just wondering if there are some rules of thumb just for rough approximations during initial design phase.
Thanks
