I am working on new and improved adjustable fresh air (cabin air) intake. In order to make room for it, I am building a new nose for my airplane. Mold is already finished and you can see it on my pictures. What I don't know is how you're supposed to connect new part with old structure. I made sketch on how I see it, but I don't know if it is correct or how big internal patch needs to be, 2 inch wide, 3 inch wide, and how many plies? I appreciate any input I can get. Someone has done this before for sure. Thank you!
