Hello all again. In the early 20th century an aviation pioneer by the name of Horatio Phillips developed a few multiplane aircraft. They all consisted of very thin slender wings with little results. His 1907 flyer did managed though a 500 foot long flight though uncontrolled.I was wondering though if done a certain way would it be possible for one to design an aircraft with such wings and be successful?I feel if a series of slotted thin wings stacked behind each other could might at least manage a short flight.Though a proper airframe would help things.Would it be too odd to work?
