Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Jason and I am happy to be a part of homebuiltairplanes.com. I have been an aviation fanatic my whole life, but am just now getting close to starting on that dream. I have two kids, and a third on the way, so needless to say "budget build" is a term I've had to get very familiar with! My plan (hope) is to get my sport pilot certificate this summer, and rent while building a low cost LSA (probably Zenith) to build a few hundred more hours in, then move up to my Private and start flying a family hauler (finances permitting).
Anyway, as a non-member I have found homebuiltairplanes.com to be an invaluable resource to all my research. There is such an abundance of knowledgeable folks on this site who have really helped me gain clarity on certain issues. Now that I'm a part of the community I hope to gain even more knowledge and understanding as I journey into my first build. Thanks!
