I deceided to go with DuPont VariPrime. I have yet to shoot it, but I transferred it into jars for ease of dispensing.

I have tested the guns with water and the small $6 air brush shoots AMAZINGLY WELL! The first job for it will be the elevator hinge brackets.

I plan on degreasing the parts with a scotchbrite pad immersed in dishwashing liquid. After they are removed from the bathtub I will wipe them down with laquer thinner and shoot them immediately. This method comes from several sources. I concur wholeheartedly.
