First attempt at a new style. I smell a rat. Wonder what's up?

So what does a nine surface airplane get you that, say, an eight surface one doesn't?

    So,

I seem to be looking into a biplane setup recently.

Wings at 15ft^2 a side for a total of 60 ft^2 with push engine.

Tossing out some of the fancy goals, but I still want to get the wings right in fiberglass.

It's mostly the body I never make too much progress on.

    Greetings Members,

A quick post, I've re-entered college. Frankly, It's crashing me, 16 credit hours may not be too much for a good student, but 13 years rusty is tough.

Any case, I'll be leasing an office soon, and contemplating weather or not I feel up to a build, probably in aluminum, cause I can't have mess lying around with little space.

Not committed, but if I get everything up to on time, there is a very small opportunity to make a FAR 103.

Also not sure if I want to do the Avatar or Nine-planar. The Avatar fuselage isn't easily converted into a tube frame, although it could certainly be done.

    Thank you all for patience,

    LuPi

Feel free to ignore some of this aging thread.

I was hoping to get some suggestions for a forward pod trike. Plans built & otherwise.

I can weld, but my prference is for Aluminum with fasteners. Wood also fastened preferably. Know how to do composites, but I really don't like foam.

This is for my Avatar, except I will be straightening the wings. Bonus for strong mounting points.

Just trying to get'er done. My computer can't fly no matter what equation I use.
