I am struggling to understand what I have to buy to get the Garmin 500 autopilot system. The GFC507 is a controller but it is obviously not essential. The literature loosely associates it with the G3X touch, but is this just another driver interface or does it actually incorporate the autopilot? If so, do I just purchase the G3X and the 3 servos with a software inclusion in the G3X?
