I'm hoping to get some input on whether or not it would be feasible / a good idea to replace conventional ailerons with fowler flaperons in conjunction with spoilerons.
Obviously, the motion of the fowler flaperon would be restricted upwards by the wing, explaining the need for the spoilerons.

The goal in mind is to maximize the increase of lift in landing configuration. The idea being that such a configuration could allow full-span flaps. 'Typical' fowler flaps over ~2/3 of the span, with the outer 1/3 being fowler flaperons and spoilerons. Of course take care that the wing root stalls first.

Bad idea?
