After several months of reading on this and other forums, I purchased an Rv14 project that is about 40% complete. Not a particularly creative or imaginative project but one that is well designed and fairly straight forward. The big unknown for me will be the engine. Seems most builders follow Vans instruction and write the $35k check for a new 390. That's not in my budget or mindset. Having built a couple of hot rod engines, I am more interested in somehow building my own 360(4 or 6 cyl) with efii. Will start a threat in the FWF section in the near future to draw on the expertise evident in this forum.
Thanks
Michael
