Hi All,

I am looking into buying a newly completed project. Does anyone have experience with getting a ferry permit during Phase I testing?

The airplane has not yet been inspected for airworthiness - but that could be done as soon as I can arrange it. The build is great, but I expect a number of small things to come up (as they always seem to do).

I'd like to test fly her for a week from the builder's airport, then fly her home from Michigan to CA (with ferry permit).

Any real knowledge / experience with this out there?

Cheers,
Owen
