I am looking for economical sources for engine oil. Amazon has Aeroshell W100 for sale at $17.00 bucks a bottle... Really?!?! What Delta Alpha would pay that?

Anyhoo... my engine is a TIO 540 and in Central California in the summer it is kinda hot so I was thinking of running straight 100W.

I have read a bunch of articles on reciprocating engine aviation oil and there does not seem to be a concensus on brands or weights of oil. Other than the articles I have read I have no idea about what to run in this engine however I'm planning on switching to multi weight oil in the fall.

Any advice /suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
