So the Model "A" is out, mostly due to lack of money, and the desire for an easy to work on engine, with readily available parts. Really what I'm wondering is, could I run a VW 4 cylinder engine on a Pietenpol, given that it has about 50-60HP or more? Seems like you should be able to assuming it will physically fit, generates the power, and will allow it achieve a proper CG.

Any other suggestions for powering a Piet.

Options include:
Continental 65hp engine
Continentl O-200
Corvair engine

Thanks in advance.
