Hey all. Got any tips on using a dye set?

I just got my 1/4" and 3/16" dyes for threading the 'drag wires...

How far does one know how to tighten the dye..it looks like it has an adjustable grub screw on the side....

...4130 rods for 'drag wires have arrived, and are now epoxy primered ready for threads...man those rods really took a lot of spraying...every time i thought i'd done, i'd rotate the rod to check, and sure enough, i'd find yet another 'shadow' where i'd missed..
