So, as I just posted over in the project log thread, I have just now gone public on what I've been working on for the past year or two. The purpose of going public is to "Open it up for comment, advice and ridicule." There's a lot of people on here who I respect. The only kind of formal engineering training I have is software engineering and this is a hardware problem. So, I'm hoping people can tell me what I'm doing wrong.
