This thread is a direct result of a an ongoing brain child of mine and a quote made by Unknown Target saying the following:

Flying is fun for people who LOVE flying, but really there's not much to do other than go around at a level altitude and sight-see. How about a completely open body - i.e. a real demon machine, 125 knots and nothing holding you in but the seat belt and the rudder pedals? :)

While I believe the above quote was made as a joke I believe it has some validity. One person, one bag (backpack sized), enough fuel for 2 hours of endurance, and enough maneuverability to inspect the Grand Canyon at 125 knots.

I am attempting to fill the above mission parameters with a flying wing using the NACA 0015 airfoil. I have been referencing this website heavily for learning the basics of design. I am still struggling with the concepts, but I'm dredging my way through as you read this.

I am seeking opinions and ideas regarding the above description. Again, I realize the comment was made in jest, but I believe it has value and possible application.
