I have been observing that many new LS designs especially European Designs have curved leading edge Wing Tips; Curved leading edge Vertical Stabilizer; curve leading edge Horizontal Stabiliser and was wondering if there as ay firmly established guide to performance benefits.
Initially believed that the round/ elliptical shape was to reduce the Tip chord to reduce the Tip Vortex Drag but I haven't found anything to confirm that, as yet. Any help appreciated!!
TIA
