I wish to build my Pitts S1SS landing gear with carbon or a mix of carbon/fiber glass.kevlar instead of the aluminum Grove landing gear,to get lower weigth...i hope!!!.I will be around 7/8" to 1" thick,4" wide on top then tappered toward bottom.
I will use layer of UD fiber, then a final fiber socket to hold them.
What kind of UD fiber i have to use ?
Thyank you
