I have been looking at construction pictures of the Luciole and have seen what looks like aluminum bonded to plywood. The adhesive looks black but I cannot tell for sure from the pictures. Is this plywood really held on by just glue? I know Colomban is not afraid to bond aluminum to foam.

There are some places where the wings attach to the fuselage where the aluminum is pop riveted through the plywood skin. Are the rivets a back-up to bonding?

Thanks for the help.
