Hi
I Googled this article explaining how to build a Capacitive Fuel Gauge:

https://www.homebuiltairplanes.com/...capacitive-fuel-gauge-instructions-lo-res.pdf

I searched this forum trying to find what topic belongs to, but no luck. It looks very simple to build (I see there is a kit out there too) and I wanted to ask 2 questions related to that device:

1) What is the precision of the Capacitive Fuel Sender?
2) Can I use a very fine network of comb style copper tracks etched on PCB as the sensing capacitor?

I would really appreciate replies coming from practical experience. We are all good on theory.

Thanks.
