Suppose you had an airplane which, for wing folding considerations, would have the outer wing panels (similar in nature to a KR-2 or say...a Chilton) removable by means of unbolting the top and bottom wing attach bolts at the outer stub spar wing attach fitting. So this would mean each wing attach bolt would be installed and removed say... 50ish times per year if I flew weeklyish (wouldn't that be nice?)

At what point could wear on the steel fittings become a concern? Should a bushing be considered? For clarity- the wing would NOT be pivoted or folded on the wing attach fittings. The bolts/pins would simply be removed and installed somewhat frequently.

Edit- Follow up question- Could taper pins be the solution?
