...you get two windsurf carbon spars and use them for a ladder wing structure kind substituting the longitudinal aluminum tubes with some weight advantage?
I have the Mike Sandlin's Goats ultralight gliders in mind...It will be easy to roll some more carbon layers in the places where the compression struts do their compression job. Too much empirical? Expensive? Flexy? What?
