I recently acquired a kitfox lite that still has the 2si engine in it. The engine runs fine but I am looking at options for upgrading because of parts availability. I really like the idea of the 1/2 vw engines, but everyone says the climb performance leaves alot to be desired.I live in southeast Tennessee and rising terrain and sinking air are the norm. Is there anything that can be done to improve the climb with these engines?

Thanks
Jim
