Looks like we have just upgraded the ECU, from the Link G4+ Xtreme to the ViPec i88. They are both from the same company in New Zealand, with the ViPec having even more bells and whistles (standard equipment) than the G4+.

Engine programming with the ECU is underway at this time, at a well known and highly respected dyno / hot rod shop in Houston, Texas.

They advise that it is typical to beat the manufacturers hp and torque numbers by 5 to 10 percent.

With our LS376/480, we could be looking at well over 500 hp.

    Stay tuned!

For those who are not familiar with Link ECU's, they have been used with Honda V-6 and Chevy V-8 engines with great success. These are in Titan T-51 Mustangs. The ViPec i88 is simply an upgraded version, offering much more to the user. It is a bit of a surprise, as I thought the Link series (G4+ Xtreme) was already as good as you could get.
