Back in 2007 I did an interview with Tech Councilor Dan Benua of EAA Chapter 105. For some reason, I let it slip through the cracks and didn't complete it, sorry Dan. He does a very fine job explaining the benefits of the EAA Tech Councilor program. Len Kauffman of 105 is also in the video and both offer some great advice/reasons for builders to keep on plugging away at your project. Even though it's centered around RV aircraft, both Dan and Len have some good advice for all builders.
