I am looking at putting a ea-81 in my sonerai ii direct drive. Does anybody have any recomendations against this. Thanks for your help

I had an ea81 with rfi belt reduction, starter and gen. using ellison throttle body on my sii.
weight of the engine, sitting on a small stand is close to 250#.
Empty weight of the airframe with radiator was 730#, using a brs chute mounted behind the pilot, and battery in the tail I was able to get the cg within the range.
I flew it a few times and decided it was too heavy. Now running a c-65 built up to 75 hp.
empty weight about 680 using the same warp drive prop.
I gave some thought to the direct drive but concluded not a good way to support the loads
imposed by a prop.
