I was discussing here about power to weight ratio.

It seems to be pretty vague to me.

How is it really calculated ?

I used full power and full weight when defining A2D Skyshark power to weight ratio.

What is it usually ?

Is it the best power to weight ratio on take off with full load ( as it would make sense ).

Nearly empty plane definitely has the best ratio.

Flying models I used to think anything better than 0.5 hp/kg seem to be really fast.
