Hello again all!I've stumbled upon this video of this ultralight version of the Bleriot XI.It is said plans are available from the builder but contacting him maybe difficult. It is from Czech Republic and the builder is Václav Vondrášek.I know of the Airdrome kit of the Bleriot but want something more true to the original model in materials such as wood.It is a great looking machine and hope it is possible to locate plans for it or something similar.

Thank you

Mr. Vondrášek appears to be associated with this aero club and there is a .pdf (in Czech, attached) that seems to indicate that he has built many other ultralight replicas. I suspect that if you write to the club addresses below someone might be able to help you. Here's the blurb from the club site, translated by Google:

Production of replicas of historical aircraft.
Together with the well-known designer and builder Václav Vondrášek we are involved in the production of flying replicas of historical aircraft. For example, several Blériot XI., Wright Flyer III, Aviatik D. I Berg, Bohemia B.5, Methodius Vlach, Etrich II Albatros, Curtiss Jenny, Aero A 34 "Kos", R.A.F. SE 5 and several others.
More detailed information about the airplane designer, pilot and enthusiast Václav Vondrášek can be found here.

Remember that US and European definitions for Ultralight are different. European UL is pretty much LSA in US.

No problems there.I've e-mailed them and hope to get word soon.I am also pretty keen on their other machines like the Etrich and Aviatik.
